It features a lightweight, 1-piece flexible shell lined with a padded terry cloth for added comfort. The adjustable calf, ankle and bilateral dorsiflexion straps allow you to customize the fit, keeping it in fastened the entire night. It's designed to keep the foot at a 90-degree angle to the shinbone, which places a sustained stretch on the plantar fascia. Prolonging this stretch overnight helps hold the plantar fascia in a better position for healing. Research has shown that night splinting relieves symptoms in over 80% of cases of plantar fasciitis.
