FOR SALE: Koi Fish This lot offers 11 live Koi fish for your pond. The fish are approximately 2-4 inches in size and come in a variety of standard fins. They have been pond-raised and are currently feeding on Aquamax pellets. Please note that the photograph is a random sample of the fish you may receive. While they will be similar in variety, they may not be the same. We have been qualified by UPS to ship live fish via Next Day Air Service. Shipping is only available Monday through Thursday, unless otherwise arranged. We package the fish in cycled water, pure oxygen, and double-layer 3-mil poly bags. Due to the active nature of some species, some fish may appear tranquilized and sluggish. If they have gill movement, please introduce them to fresh water. To ensure the health and well-being of your Koi, it is essential to follow proper maintenance guidelines. There are numerous publications available that cover water quality, disease treatment, and other essential aspects of Koi care. Water Quality Requirements: * Salt Level: 3 ppt (3 lbs non-iodized salt per 100 gallons) * Temperature: 60-85 degrees Fahrenheit * pH: 6.5-8 * Ammonia: 0 PPM * Nitrite: Less than .25 PPM * Oxygen: 4 PPM or greater Quarantine Procedure: * Quarantine new fish arrivals for a minimum of 2 weeks before introducing them to other older fish. * Minimum temperature for introducing new fish to older fish: 75 degrees Fahrenheit Important Note: These Koi are not suitable for aquariums. They require a suitable-sized pond to maintain their health and ensure optimal results. Additionally, it is crucial to quarantine new fish arrivals for a minimum of 2 weeks before introducing them to other older fish. This quarantine period is essential to prevent the spread of diseases. We cannot accept responsibility for any conditions that may arise due to the mixing of new fish with older fish.
